**Mumbai, India** – Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has brushed aside ongoing death threats, stating that his life is in God’s hands. The 59-year-old actor, speaking at a press event for his upcoming film *Sikandar*, responded to questions about the threats with a resigned, “It’s all up to God, Allah. What is written is written.”
Khan acknowledged the inconvenience of his heightened security detail, necessitated by the threats and a shooting incident near his Mumbai apartment in April 2022. Police investigations linked the shooting, which involved multiple shots fired by two men on a motorbike, to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently imprisoned in Gujarat. Bishnoi’s anger stems from Khan’s involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, a matter deeply significant to the Bishnoi community who consider the animal sacred.
