Wed Mar 26 16:07:38 UTC 2025: ## Hubballi to Host Theatre Festival Celebrating World Theatre Day
**Hubballi, March 27, 2025** – The Sunidhi Kala Sourabha group will celebrate World Theatre Day with the Dr. Govind Mannur Theatre Festival in Hubballi on March 28th. The festival, held at the Sawai Gandharva Hall in Deshpande Nagar at 5:30 p.m., will feature performances of two plays, “Parvati Bai Pancha Sutragalu” and “Maava,” by 20 amateur theatre artists.
The event will also honor Santosh Mahale and Basavaraj Chakrasali with the Ranga Sourabha Award-2025. M.G. Hiremath, Principal of KLEJGMMC, will inaugurate the festival, with writer Govind Mannur and former Supreme Court judge Uday Desai serving as chief guests. The announcement was made by former Dharwad Rangayana director Subhash Narendra and Sunidhi Kala Sourabha secretary Veena Athavale.
