**London, UK –** Multi-award-winning actor and host Alan Cumming will helm the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced Monday. The ceremony, sponsored by P&O Cruises for the third consecutive year, will take place on Sunday, May 11th at the Royal Festival Hall in London and air on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK.

Cumming, known for his roles in *The Good Wife* and *Cabaret*, and his recent hosting of *The Traitors U.S.*, is expected to bring his signature “playful sense of mischief and fun” to the event. BAFTA executive director Emma Baehr stated that audiences should “expect the unexpected” at Britain’s biggest television celebration.

International viewers will be able to watch the awards ceremony on BritBox (U.S., Canada, Australia, Nordics), Foxtel (Australia), AlThaqafeya and MBC Channels (Africa and the Middle East), and Rewind Networks (Asia).

Nominations for the awards will be revealed this Thursday. Last year’s ceremony attracted an average audience of 2.7 million viewers.
