**Vijayawada, March 27, 2025** – The Andhra Pradesh government is set to celebrate the Sri Viswavasu Nama Ugadi festival on March 30th with a series of grand events across the state. Celebrations will take place at the state level, encompassing all districts, and will also extend to A.P. Bhavan in New Delhi, the A.P. Secretariat in Velagapudi, and the Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu Memorial Building in Chennai.
The festivities will include traditional Panchanga Sravanam (annual astrological reading), recognition ceremonies for prominent figures from the arts and culture, a Kavi Sammelanam (poetry conference), and various cultural performances. The state government has allocated Rs. 5 crore for the celebrations.
