**Chennai, [Date]** – The release of the highly anticipated Tamil film “Veera Dheera Sooran 2,” starring Vikram, has been temporarily halted by the Delhi High Court. The film, directed by S.U. Arun Kumar and featuring S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique, was scheduled for release today.
However, Mumbai-based company B4U filed a lawsuit against the film’s producers. B4U claims they provided funding for the film and were granted its digital rights. They allege that the producers violated this agreement by attempting to release the film in theaters without first selling the digital rights, thus hindering B4U’s ability to distribute the film on OTT platforms.
Following a hearing this morning, the Delhi High Court issued an interim injunction on the release. The court ordered the film’s production team to deposit ₹7 crore and submit all relevant documents within 48 hours, citing the premature announcement of the theatrical release date before the digital rights were finalized. The injunction will remain in place until further notice.
