Thu Mar 27 03:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Vikram’s “Veera Dheera Sooran 2” Faces Release Delay, Then Triumphantly Hits Theatres

**Chennai, India** – The release of the highly anticipated Tamil action film “Veera Dheera Sooran 2,” starring Vikram, faced a last-minute hurdle today, but ultimately triumphed. The film, directed by S.U. Arun Kumar and featuring an ensemble cast including S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Sithik, was initially scheduled for a morning release. However, a Delhi High Court injunction temporarily halted its screening due to a legal dispute.

A Mumbai-based company, B4U, filed a lawsuit against the film’s production company, alleging breach of contract regarding digital rights. B4U claimed it had provided funding for the film and was entitled to its digital rights. The court initially ordered the production company to deposit ₹7 crore and submit all relevant documents within 48 hours. A temporary ban was then extended for four weeks.

However, after negotiations between the production company and B4U, a new agreement was reached, leading to the court lifting the injunction. Director S.U. Arun Kumar announced via a video message that the film would be released in theatres across the country from the evening onwards. He expressed his apologies for the inconvenience caused to fans and theatre owners who had eagerly awaited the morning screenings.

The film’s production company and music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar also confirmed the evening release on their respective social media accounts, bringing much-needed relief to fans after a day of uncertainty. “Veera Dheera Sooran 2” is now playing in theatres nationwide.
