Mon Mar 24 16:42:59 UTC 2025: ## Ukrainian Railway Under Sophisticated Cyberattack
**Kyiv, Ukraine (March 24, 2025)** – Ukraine’s national railway operator, Ukrzaliznytsia, is battling a sophisticated, multi-level cyberattack for a second consecutive day, the company announced Monday. While the perpetrators remain unidentified, the attack targeted online systems, temporarily disrupting online ticket sales over the weekend and into Monday.
Despite the ongoing cyber assault, Ukrzaliznytsia insists its rail services continue uninterrupted, transporting Ukrainian servicemen and civilians across the country. The company is collaborating with the Security Service of Ukraine to counter the attack, which it described as “systematic and non-trivial.”
This latest cyberattack comes amidst ongoing Russian military aggression, which has previously targeted Ukrzaliznytsia infrastructure with drone and missile strikes. Last week, four employees were injured in attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, and services were disrupted in Kirovograd. Ukrzaliznytsia plays a crucial role in Ukraine, providing essential transportation for millions of Ukrainians traveling domestically and internationally.
