Hazaribag, Jharkhand – Tensions flared in Hazaribag district on Tuesday night following a stone-pelting incident during a Ram Navami procession. According to police, the incident occurred near Jama Masjid Chowk around 11 p.m. Stones were allegedly thrown from both sides of the Mangla procession, prompting police to fire shots in the air to disperse the crowd.
While the exact cause remains under investigation, local reports suggest a dispute over the playing of communal songs may have escalated into violence. Police have confirmed that the situation is under control and security has been strengthened in the area. An investigation is underway to identify and apprehend those involved in the stone-throwing.
