**CHICAGO, March 25, 2025** – US Women’s National Team head coach Emma Hayes has unveiled a 24-player roster for two highly anticipated friendlies against Brazil in April. The matches will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California (April 5th) and PayPal Park in San Jose, California (April 8th). A final 23-player squad will be selected for each game.
The roster features a mix of veteran talent and rising stars, including the highly anticipated return of forward Trinity Rodman. Rodman, whose last appearance for the USWNT was in the 2024 Olympic gold medal match against Brazil, will play near her Laguna Niguel, California hometown.
Notable inclusions also include:
* **Alana Cook:** A veteran central defender returning from the 2023 Women’s World Cup.
* **Avery Patterson:** An uncapped defender from the Houston Dash, receiving her first senior national team call-up.
* **Phallon Tullis-Joyce:** The Manchester United goalkeeper returns after training with the team late last year.
* **Ally Sentnor and Michelle Cooper:** Both players, who scored their first USWNT goals during the SheBelieves Cup, earned spots on the roster.
Coach Hayes expressed excitement about the roster’s blend of experience and emerging talent, emphasizing the competitive nature of securing a spot on the team. The games against Brazil, a team the USWNT faced in the recent Olympic gold medal game, promise to be highly competitive and entertaining.
The roster boasts strong California representation, including players from the Southern California and San Francisco Bay areas. Several players, including Tierna Davidson, Alana Cook, Catarina Macario, and Jane Campbell, have Stanford University connections, adding another layer of local interest to the San Jose match.
The team comprises 17 players from the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and seven playing professionally in Europe (three in France, three in England, and one in the Netherlands).
The matches will be broadcast on TNT, truTV, Max, Universo, and Peacock.
