Wed Mar 26 04:54:14 UTC 2025: ## Hyderabad Police Bust Online Cricket Betting Ring, Seize ₹16.98 Lakh
**Hyderabad, March 26, 2025** – Two men were arrested in Hyderabad for their involvement in an illegal online cricket betting racket operating during the ongoing IPL 2025 season. Ramdev Ladha, a bookie, and Pavan Agarwal, a punter, were apprehended at Bombay Bar by the Commissioner’s Task Force’s South zone team in conjunction with Abids police following a tip-off.
Police seized ₹1.36 lakh in cash, two mobile phones, and online betting IDs valued at ₹15.62 lakh. Both men, who are engaged in private businesses, obtained their online betting IDs from a main bookie, Shriraj Boob, and used the Radhe Exchange platform to facilitate bets. They also allegedly provided login credentials to other punters for commission. The seized materials have been handed over to Abids police for further investigation.
