Tue Mar 25 11:13:14 UTC 2025: ## Two Engineering Students Killed in Chennai Road Accident
**Chennai, March 25, 2025** – Two 19-year-old engineering students were killed in a road accident in Alandur, Chennai, on Sunday night. Calwin Kenny and Siddharthan, both residents of Bharathi Nagar, Ramapuram, were returning home after attending an IPL match when their two-wheeler collided with a Metro Rail pillar near Asarkana Junction.
The students had travelled to the match via Metro, parking their bike at the Alandur Metro Station. While attempting a U-turn, the rider lost control, causing the fatal crash. Both students sustained severe head injuries and died at the scene.
The St. Thomas Mount Traffic Investigation Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
