**Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh:** The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam is prepared to host the five-day Ugadi Mahotsavams, commencing March 27th. Temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao announced extensive arrangements to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for the expected influx of devotees.
The festivities will feature daily processional deity vahana sevas (sacred vehicle processions) for Goddess Bhramaramba and Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy, along with daily adornments of the Goddess in different avatars. Special events such as Prabhotsavam, Agnigunda Pravesam, Radhotsavam, and Purnahuthi are also scheduled throughout the five days.
Thousands of devotees, many trekking from Karnataka and Maharashtra, have already arrived. The temple administration has responded by providing temporary shelters, improved water access (over one crore liters supplied via 450 pumps and 34 RO plants), enhanced sanitation measures, and increased medical facilities. Ample food (Annaprasadam) is being distributed, and NGOs are assisting in providing additional provisions. Bus parking has also been organized.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao emphasized the commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all pilgrims. The temple town has been illuminated, and the administration is cooperating with various organizations to manage the large crowds effectively.
