**Vijayawada, March 25, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu issued a stern warning to district Collectors and officials Tuesday, urging swift action on land-related issues to prevent public discontent. During the third District Collectors’ meeting in Amaravati, Naidu expressed alarm over the rising number of revenue-related complaints, attributing the surge to irregularities and record tampering by the previous government.
Naidu highlighted that land issues constitute 60-70% of current problems. He stressed the sensitive nature of land ownership and instructed officials to develop time-bound solutions, emphasizing the need to resolve, not complicate, these matters.
The Chief Minister also reiterated the government’s commitment to providing housing plots – three cents in rural areas and two cents in urban areas – to all eligible citizens within five years. He directed officials to gather feedback from beneficiaries and provide necessary assistance.
