**Castle Dale, UT (March 25, 2025)** – The Emery Spartans softball team continued their winning streak Friday, crushing the Delta Rabbits 10-0 in a Region 12 matchup. The victory improves Emery’s region record to a perfect 4-0, putting them at the top of the standings alongside North Sanpete (3-0).
The Spartans’ offensive onslaught started early, with two runs in the first inning followed by four in the second and three in the third. They added another run in the fifth, securing the run-rule victory. Delta managed only one hit throughout the entire game.
Pitcher Kallee Lake started strong, striking out six batters in three innings while also going 2-for-2 at the plate with a walk and a double. Rheagan Rhoten continued the dominance in relief, striking out four batters in two innings.
Key offensive contributions came from Bailey Luke’s triple and two hits, Elli Stoker’s two-RBI hit, and RBIs from Elly Stilson and Kaitlyn Thomas.
Emery now faces a crucial matchup against North Sanpete on Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant.
