**[City, State] –** Monster Hunter Wilds on PlayStation 5 is receiving a substantial free title update on April 4th, adding a wealth of new content for players. The update includes the highly anticipated return of the Mizutsune, a fan-favorite monster known for its dazzling attacks and stylish armor sets. Hunters will also face an even greater challenge with the arrival of an Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a significantly more powerful foe, available in an Event Quest starting April 30th.

The update also introduces the Grand Hub, a new social space where hunters can interact, play the Barrel Bowling mini-game, and enjoy meals prepared by Felynes. The Grand Hub also houses the revamped Squad Information Counter, making squad management more convenient.

Returning gameplay modes include Arena Quests, allowing players to compete for the fastest completion times, and new Challenge Quests, offering diverse gameplay options for solo or group hunts. Players can also customize Alma’s outfit with new free and paid DLC options, and participate in the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance event from April 23rd to May 7th.

Veteran monster Zoh Shia returns with repeatable High Rank quests, yielding materials for new equipment. The update also includes bug fixes and adjustments. A second free title update is planned for May, featuring a collaboration with another Capcom title, and a third is slated for Summer.
