**Mumbai, India** – Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan are set to collaborate on a film, according to Aamir Khan himself. The announcement follows a spontaneous onstage performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Gujarat.
Speaking to Just Too Filmy, Aamir revealed that the impromptu appearance, which saw the three Khans sharing the stage for the first time in this configuration, solidified their decision to work together. Initially invited at the last minute by Mukesh Ambani, Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salman rehearsed a short skit together. The ease and comfort they experienced during this collaboration, Aamir said, led to a realization that the time was right for a joint film project.
“We sat together for about half an hour and prepared the skit,” Aamir recounted. “The comfort with which we were saying yes and no to each other…made me realize that we were in a comfortable place now. We were able to exchange ideas freely.” Following the rehearsal, Aamir proposed the idea of a film to his fellow Khans, who readily agreed.
Aamir candidly addressed the historical rivalry between the three actors, acknowledging past competition and occasional conflicts. However, he emphasized that those days are long gone, replaced by a warm friendship forged over 35 years in the industry. “Now, that rivalry is no longer there,” he stated. “Having journeyed together for 35 years, there is a sense of warmth and friendship between us, which has become more pronounced now than ever.”
While Salman and Shah Rukh have appeared in films together, and Aamir has co-starred with Salman, a film featuring all three Khans has long been a dream for their fans.
