Tue Mar 25 10:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Rippling Co-Founder and Wife Locked in Bitter Public Feud Involving Son’s Abduction, Tax Evasion, and Sexual Assault Allegations

**Chennai, India –** A high-profile legal battle between Prasanna Sankar, co-founder of the billion-dollar tech firm Rippling, and his wife Dhivya Sashidhar has exploded into a public feud marked by explosive accusations and counter-accusations of adultery, child abduction, tax evasion, and sexual assault.

Sashidhar, CEO of a Colorado-based software company, claims her husband forcibly brought her and their nine-year-old son from the US to India three weeks ago under the guise of a property dispute. She alleges that her son was subsequently taken from her by Sankar’s friend, and she has since been unable to locate him, prompting her to file a police report and seek assistance from the US Embassy. She further accuses Sankar of being a “sexual pervert” with a history of sexual misconduct, including secretly filming women and a past arrest for solicitation and prostitution in San Francisco that led to job loss. She also alleges that he evaded US taxes by transferring assets to his father and brother. She claims she was coerced into signing documents related to his alleged tax crimes. Sashidhar also accuses Sankar’s father of multiple sexual offenses.

Sankar, a prominent Indian-origin entrepreneur with an estimated net worth of $1 billion, has taken to social media to present his version of events. He accuses his wife of having a six-month extramarital affair and filing false rape and domestic violence charges as part of a strategy to gain an advantage in their ongoing divorce proceedings and custody battle over their son. He claims he discovered the affair through evidence provided by the alleged affair partner’s wife and that a Singaporean Police investigation found his wife’s claims baseless. He further alleges that Sashidhar attempted to abduct their son to the US and has refused to abide by a custody agreement. Sankar also accuses Chennai police of harassment.

Both parties have filed for divorce in their respective countries, with Sashidhar allegedly seeking a larger alimony payout. The couple previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), detailing a financial settlement and a shared custody arrangement. The conflict is currently focused on the child’s location and the various allegations made by both parties. The case continues to unfold and is being closely followed given the high-profile nature of the individuals involved.
