**Mangaluru, March 26, 2025** – Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) announced the appointment of Devendra Kumar as its new director (Finance) and chief financial officer. Kumar brings over 34 years of experience in finance and accounts, including 15 years with ONGC Videsh Ltd. His expertise spans business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, capital budgeting, risk and investment analysis, treasury, and international business. A graduate in electrical engineering and a postgraduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Kumar has held leadership positions within ONGC, both domestically and internationally.
