Tue Mar 25 04:59:44 UTC 2025: ## Chinese Woman Seeks Justice After Botched Breast Augmentation Reveals Cattle and Moose DNA

**Beijing, China** – A Chinese woman is pursuing legal action after a disastrous breast augmentation procedure left her severely disabled and revealed the shocking presence of animal DNA in her implants. Lingling, from Jiangxi province, underwent the procedure at the now-defunct Beijing Creating Medical Cosmetic Clinic in 2017, spending approximately Rs 2.8 crore (2.4 million yuan) on the surgery and subsequent corrective treatments.

The clinic, which has since had its license revoked and faced 398 medical malpractice disputes, marketed the procedure as a revolutionary technique using the patient’s own collagen. However, tests conducted in 2024 revealed the implants contained DNA from cattle and moose. Lingling experienced severe pain, developed lumps, and underwent nine additional procedures over six years to address complications arising from the botched surgery.

Further investigation revealed that other patients of the clinic also had implants containing animal DNA, including camel, bat, and gorilla DNA. The clinic’s head surgeon, Bai Jin, was also found to be unregistered with medical authorities. Both the clinic and the beauty salon that initially recommended the procedure have since closed, leaving Lingling struggling to obtain compensation.

This month, Lingling filed a complaint with the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, but faces significant obstacles in her quest for justice due to the closure of the involved institutions. Her case highlights serious concerns about the lack of regulation and oversight within the Chinese cosmetic surgery industry.
