YADGIR, KARNATAKA—A new boating facility has opened at Sanna Kere lake in Lumbini Garden, Yadgir. The project, a joint venture between the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Tourism Department, and Vinyog Ventures Private Limited, was inaugurated on March 24th by MLA Channareddy Patil Tunnur.
The facility offers four types of boats: kayaks, bumping boats, general rowboats, and rafting boats, catering to visitors of all ages. Local officials expressed excitement, stating that the boating facility fulfills a long-held wish of the community. Future plans include developing similar facilities at other lakes and reservoirs in the district, with tenders to be issued soon.
