PATNA, INDIA – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today released the Class 12 results for 2025, revealing a 94.77% pass rate for Commerce students and 89.50% for Science students. Top performers Priya Jaiswal, Raushani Kumari, Ankita Kumari, and Shakib Sah were announced. However, the board also outlined several options for students who did not pass.
Students who failed have the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets to check for marking discrepancies. A compartmental exam will be offered for students who failed only one subject, providing a chance to improve their grade. Students can also choose to reappear for the entire exam at a later date. Alternatively, open boards offering more frequent exam opportunities are available.
For those not pursuing further academic study, the BSEB highlighted alternative career paths. Vocational training, polytechnic courses, and ITI programs are viable options, as are various government job opportunities in sectors such as railways, police, and banking that do not require a Class 12 passing certificate. The board encourages students to explore these options based on their individual skills and interests.
