**Patna, Bihar:** The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the results for the Class 12th examinations. Priya Jayswal, a student from Champaran, Bihar, secured the top position in the state with a total score of 484 out of 500. Her marksheet shows impressive scores across subjects, including 97 in English, 94 in Hindi, and near-perfect scores in Science subjects. Jayswal attended a government-sponsored senior secondary school in Champaran.
The BSEB also announced toppers in other streams: In Commerce, Roshni scored 475, followed by Khushi with 473. In Arts, Ankita Kumari and Saqib Shah tied with 473 marks.
This year, the Bihar government has significantly increased the cash prizes for the top 10 rank holders. The first-place winner will receive ₹2 lakh, a laptop, certificate, and a medal; second place will receive ₹1.5 lakh; and third place will receive ₹1 lakh.
