**Patna, Bihar – March 25, 2025** – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) today announced the results for the Class 12 (Intermediate) examinations, revealing an overall pass percentage of 86.5%. The results were released simultaneously for all three streams – Arts, Commerce, and Science – at 1:15 PM by Bihar’s Education Minister, Sunil Kumar.
A notable trend emerged this year, with female students securing top positions in all three streams. Priya Jaiswal topped the Science stream, achieving a remarkable 96.8% (484/500). In Arts, Ankita Kumari and Shakib Shah shared the top spot, both scoring 94.6% (473/500). Roshni Kumari secured the top position in Commerce with 95% (475/500).
Stream-wise pass percentages are as follows: Arts (82.75%), Commerce (94.77%), and Science (89.59%). The Commerce stream saw a particularly high pass rate among girls at 97%. A total of 12,92,313 students appeared for the examination, with 6,41,847 girls and 6,50,466 boys. The overall number of students who passed is 11,15,214
Students can access their results through the official BSEB websites: interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com, using their roll number and roll code. NDTV also provided a dedicated results page. The board also released details of the toppers, subject-wise pass percentages, district-wise results, and information regarding re-evaluation and compartmental examinations. Students can also access their results via SMS and DigiLocker.
The announcement of the results comes 16 days after the completion of answer sheet evaluations, which took place from February 27th to March 8th. The examinations were conducted between February 1st and 15th, across 1,677 exam centers in 38 districts. This year’s overall pass percentage is slightly lower than the 87.21% recorded in 2024.
