Tue Mar 25 02:10:00 UTC 2025: **Former “7th Heaven” Star Stephen Collins’ Past Revisited in New Documentary; Accuser Speaks Out**

LOS ANGELES, CA – A new Investigation Discovery documentary, “Hollywood Demons,” is revisiting the 2014 scandal surrounding former “7th Heaven” star Stephen Collins and allegations of sexual misconduct with underage girls. The series features an interview with April Price, who claims Collins exposed himself to her on three separate occasions when she was 13 years old in 1983 during a summer visit to her aunt in Los Angeles. Price, now a mother, decided to share her story to empower others who may have experienced similar trauma and to encourage victims to speak up.

Price recounts meeting Collins, whom she admired as a fan of his show “Tales of the Gold Monkey,” and describes him as initially kind and engaging. However, she alleges that he subsequently exposed himself to her on multiple occasions. She also claims that she later encountered Collins again as an adult, at which point he apologized for his actions.

The documentary also includes interviews with other individuals connected to Collins, though many declined to participate. Former “7th Heaven” cast members, including Jeremy London, expressed their shock and disgust at the revelations.

Collins, now 77, was previously accused by other women. Leaked audio recordings of a counseling session in 2012 surfaced in 2014, in which he confessed to acts of misconduct. While investigations were launched, no criminal charges were filed due to the statute of limitations. In a 2014 interview, Collins admitted to inappropriate behavior but denied being a pedophile. He attributed his actions to exhibitionism and poor impulse control.

Price stated that she reported her experience to the LAPD in 2014 but understood the statute of limitations had expired. She hopes her participation in the documentary will help other victims find their voice and that it will bring awareness to the lasting impact of such abuse. “Hollywood Demons” airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Investigation Discovery.
