PATNA, INDIA—March 25, 2025—The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announced the results for the 2025 intermediate (12th grade) examinations today at 1:15 PM IST. The results, available on the official websites (biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, results.biharboardonline.com, secondary.biharboardonline.com), show a pass percentage of 86.5%. Girls outperformed boys in the science stream, achieving a 91.29% pass rate compared to 88.63% for boys. The 12th-grade exams were held between February 1st and 15th, while the 10th-grade exams were held from February 17th to 25th; however, only the intermediate results were released today. The 10th-grade results will be announced later.
Education Minister Sunil Kumar announced the results at a press conference. The top performer in the science stream was Supriya Jaiswal. A complete list of toppers, along with stream-wise results and details on rechecking procedures, are available on the official websites. Students can also access their results via SMS. The board highlighted that this marks the seventh consecutive year they released the 12th-grade results first. While the overall pass percentage is impressive, a comparison to last year’s results is pending further information.
