**Lucknow, India –** Uttar Pradesh is poised to launch India’s first night safari, a landmark project aimed at boosting tourism and wildlife conservation. Construction on the ambitious “Kukrail Night Safari and Adventure Park” in Lucknow is slated to begin next month, with a total investment exceeding Rs 1,500 crore.

The project, inspired by Singapore’s renowned Night Safari, will be developed in two phases. The first phase, costing Rs 631 crore and expected to complete within two years, will focus on building essential infrastructure, animal enclosures, and visitor facilities. This initial phase is set to commence in April.

Located near the Kukrail Reserve Forest, the park will feature segregated enclosures for various animals, including lions, tigers, and leopards, along with artificial moonlit trails, eco-friendly battery-operated safari vehicles, bird-watching areas, and interactive educational centers. Luxury resorts and accommodation options will also be developed to enhance the visitor experience.

The Uttar Pradesh government envisions the park as a major driver of eco-tourism, positioning Lucknow as a leading destination for wildlife enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The project aligns with the state’s broader goals of promoting wildlife conservation, increasing green cover, and creating sustainable leisure opportunities. The park is expected to redefine wildlife tourism in India, offering a unique and immersive nighttime wildlife viewing experience.
