**Rostov-on-Don, Russia –** Russian authorities reported the interception of 59 Ukrainian drones targeting southwestern regions of the country on Sunday, resulting in one civilian death. The Russian Defence Ministry, via Telegram, detailed the downing of 29 drones over the Rostov region, 20 over Astrakhan, and the remainder across Voronezh, Volgograd, Kursk, Saratov regions, and Crimea.
According to Yuri Slyusar, acting Governor of the Rostov region, a car caught fire due to a drone strike, killing the occupant. Igor Babushkin, Governor of the Astrakhan region, reported drone debris damaging a house and car, but without injuries.
