Mon Mar 24 11:45:22 UTC 2025: ## Seventh Arrest Made in Broad Daylight Murder Case
**ERODE, Tamil Nadu, March 24, 2025** – A seventh suspect surrendered to the Erode court today in connection with the daylight murder of history-sheeter John alias Chanakya, 35, on March 19th. Gokula Suganeswaran, a resident of Kitchipalayam in Salem, appeared before Judicial Magistrate No. III at the Integrated Court Complex.
Six other suspects have already been apprehended, four by police immediately following the incident near Nasiyanur on the Salem-Coimbatore National Highway, and two who surrendered on March 20th. Police are currently questioning five additional individuals.
The victim’s wife, Saranya, recently appealed to Superintendent of Police G. Jawahar for the swift arrest of all those involved in the murder. The investigation continues.
