Mon Mar 24 14:17:05 UTC 2025: ## Wife Uses Snapchat to Orchestrate Husband’s Gruesome Murder, Police Say

**Meerut, India** – A shocking murder case in Meerut has revealed a chilling plot orchestrated by Muskaan Rastogi, who allegedly used three different Snapchat accounts to manipulate her boyfriend, Sahil Shukla, into helping her kill her husband, Saurabh Rajput.

According to Meerut City Superintendent of Police Ayush Vikram Singh, Rastogi, a drug addict, used accounts under her own name, her mother’s, and her brother’s to communicate with Shukla, who also had a history of drug use and believed in the occult. Police obtained Snapchat messages where Rastogi, posing as Shukla’s deceased mother, convinced him that Saurabh’s death was inevitable and divinely ordained. One message read, “He (Saurabh) is destined to die at Muskaan’s hands.” Further messages from the fabricated accounts reinforced the idea that Shukla’s deceased mother approved of the relationship and the plan.

The couple, schoolmates who reconnected in 2019, allegedly feared Saurabh would end their drug use and affair. On March 3rd, Rastogi drugged Saurabh, who was visiting from London for his daughter’s birthday. They then stabbed him to death, dismembered his body into 15 pieces, and sealed the remains in a cement-filled drum.

Their attempt to dispose of the body in Himachal Pradesh failed. Upon their return, the weight and stench of the drum alerted laborers, who refused to move it, leading to the discovery. Panicked, Rastogi confessed to her parents, who then turned her in to the police. The investigation is ongoing.
