**Ahmedabad, March 24, 2025** – Gujarat Titans have bolstered their bowling attack with the acquisition of South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada for ₹10.75 crore in the recent IPL auction. Rabada, who previously played for Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, expressed his delight at joining the Titans, praising the team’s relaxed yet structured environment and the camaraderie within the squad.

In an interview with PTI, Rabada highlighted his positive experience with Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra, describing him as “quite a character” and stating he is enjoying working with him. The fast bowler will also be reunited with Afghan spinner Rashid Khan, with whom he played for MI Cape Town in the SA20 league. He also noted familiar faces in the team including Ishant Sharma, Rahul Tewatia and Jayant Yadav, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Rabada is set to share the new ball with Mohammed Siraj.
