MIAMI, FL – Christopher Columbus High School celebrated a momentous day, honoring its basketball team’s unprecedented fourth consecutive state championship win and retiring the jerseys of star brothers Cameron and Cayden Boozer. In a ceremony attended by the entire student body, the school retired the Boozer twins’ jerseys – No. 12 for Cameron and No. 2 for Cayden – a first in school history. Both brothers, sons of former NBA player Carlos Boozer, will attend Duke University.

The celebration also recognized head coach Andrew Moran, who was named the 2025 Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Coach of the Year. This win marks Columbus as only the second school in Miami-Dade County to achieve four consecutive state basketball championships. University of Miami’s new men’s basketball head coach, Jai Lucas, who recruited the Boozer twins to Duke, was also in attendance.
