**GAZA CITY, PALESTINE –** Two journalists were killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip on Monday, bringing the total number of media workers killed in Israeli attacks since October 2023 to at least 208, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza.
Hossam Shabat, a journalist for Al Jazeera Mubasher, was killed when his car was targeted in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza. Witnesses reported the vehicle came under direct fire from Israeli forces. Earlier in the day, Mohammad Mansour, a journalist for Palestine Today, was killed in a separate strike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
