**Bengaluru, March 23, 2025** – The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued a significant number of digital property documents, known as e-khatas, to city residents. As of March 20th, 2.76 lakh final e-khatas have been distributed following the submission of nearly 2.9 lakh applications.
The BBMP’s Revenue Department reports a processing speed of 3,165 electronically approved applications in the last 24 hours alone. Officials claim that the turnaround time for issuing an e-khata after application submission is now just two days.
BBMP Special Commissioner (Revenue) Munish Moudgil has cautioned citizens against seeking assistance from BBMP officials or touts, emphasizing that the process is straightforward and efficient.
