**Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu –** A new bus stand named after former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi was inaugurated in Aduthurai, Thanjavur district, on Sunday. The ₹3.17 crore facility, built under the Kalaignar Nagarpura Mempattu Thittam, was officially opened by Municipal Administration Minister K.N. Nehru and Higher Education Minister Govi Chezhiaan. The inauguration also saw the launch of ten new bus routes servicing the station. Thanjavur Collector B. Priyanka Pankajam and Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation managing director R. Ponmudy were also present at the event.
