**COIMBATORE, March 22, 2025** – Seven flights were diverted to Coimbatore International Airport on Saturday afternoon due to severe weather conditions in Bengaluru. Heavy rain forced the rerouting of the flights between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., according to Coimbatore Airport Director G. Sambath Kumar. The affected flights originated from Siliguri, Port Louis, Mumbai, Delhi, Tuticorin, and Visakhapatnam and were all scheduled to land at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. Once weather conditions improved in Bengaluru, all flights resumed their original routes.
