MUMBAI, INDIA – The Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to kick off its 18th season on March 22nd, with a clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. This year’s tournament features a strong Australian contingent, with 15 players set to compete across various franchises.

Several Australian stars are poised for prominent roles. Pat Cummins, retained by Sunrisers Hyderabad after leading them to the IPL 2024 final, will once again captain the side.
