HYDERABAD, INDIA – March 22, 2025 – Miyapur police are preparing to issue notices to 25 prominent film actors, television personalities, and YouTubers in connection with an ongoing investigation into the promotion of illegal betting apps. Cases have already been filed against these individuals at the Miyapur police station.
This follows an earlier case filed at the Panjagutta police station against 11 individuals for similar offenses. Police have revealed that eight of those individuals are also implicated in the Miyapur case. Authorities are preparing to interrogate all implicated individuals and take strict action against them. The investigation into the promotion of these betting apps is ongoing.
