**Kolkata, India** – The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season is set to begin today with a spectacular opening ceremony at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The ceremony, featuring performances by singers Shreya Ghoshal and Karan Aujla, and appearances by Bollywood actress Disha Patani, will precede the first match between defending champions KKR and RCB.
