Fri Mar 21 14:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Giants Sign Veteran Wide Receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey
**East Rutherford, NJ** – The New York Giants have bolstered their receiving corps with the signing of six-year NFL veteran Lil’Jordan Humphrey, the team announced Friday. The 26-year-old wideout, who spent the last two seasons with the Denver Broncos, agreed to a one-year contract.
Humphrey, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound former undrafted free agent from the University of Texas, brings a physical presence to the Giants’ receiving room. While his career statistics (62 receptions for 770 yards) aren’t eye-popping, he had a career year in 2024 with the Broncos, recording 31 receptions for 293 yards and 12 first downs, including a 41-yard touchdown. His strong blocking ability has also been praised by former Broncos coach Sean Payton, who coached Humphrey for five of his six NFL seasons.
Humphrey joins a Giants receiving group that includes Malik Nabers, Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson, Jalin Hyatt, Bryce Ford-Wheaton, and Ihmir Smith-Marsette. The Giants, coming off a 3-14 season, hope Humphrey’s experience and physicality will contribute to their offensive improvement. However, analysts suggest that the team will need more than just Humphrey to significantly improve their standing in the upcoming season.
