**EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ** – Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey has signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported today. Humphrey, a 6’4″, 225-pound receiver, spent the last two seasons in Denver, playing under former Saints head coach Sean Payton.

Humphrey originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New Orleans Saints in 2019, where he played under Payton for three seasons. While his receiving stats weren’t prolific (16 receptions, 295 yards, 3 touchdowns in 18 games with the Saints), he earned praise for his blocking. He later had a brief stint with the New England Patriots before rejoining Payton in Denver.

With the Broncos, Humphrey saw more playing time, appearing in all 17 games in both 2022 and 2023. He contributed 44 receptions for 455 yards and four touchdowns over those two seasons. Coach Payton consistently lauded Humphrey’s blocking ability, highlighting his contributions beyond just catching passes. Humphrey’s signing with the Giants marks the latest move in what has been a busy offseason for several NFL teams.
