**New Delhi, March 21, 2025** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the Class 12 Biotechnology exam today at 7,842 centres across India and 26 locations abroad. Over 42 lakh students are appearing for the Class 10 and 12 board exams this year. The exam began at 10:30 am and will conclude at 1:30 pm.

CBSE officials stressed the importance of adherence to strict examination rules. Students were reminded that entry to examination halls will be denied after 10:00 am, and they must arrive well in advance. A school uniform is mandatory, and only permitted stationery is allowed. Electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are strictly prohibited. Students must carefully review their admit cards and the updated CBSE circular on unfair practices. Sharing exam-related material on social media platforms is also strictly forbidden.

Students are required to bring both their CBSE admit cards and school ID cards. The Class 10 exams concluded on March 18th, while the Class 12 exams, which began on February 15th with Entrepreneurship, will conclude on April 4th.
