**New Delhi, March 21, 2025** – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has launched three investigations into an alleged ₹9,000 crore scam related to the development of Sports City projects in Noida between 2011 and 2014. The investigations follow directives from the Allahabad High Court, which alleged a conspiracy between Noida Authority officials and builders.

The CBI’s probes target three separate projects: one in Sector 150 awarded to Logix Infra Developers, another in Sector 150 involving Lotus Green Constructions, and a third in Sectors 78-79 involving Xanadu Estates. Several directors from these companies have been named in the FIRs, along with unnamed Noida Authority officials.

The High Court’s order stated that the allottees repeatedly violated project conditions, allegedly in collusion with Noida Authority officials. The court deemed the entire process, from conception to implementation, “fraught with fraud and corruption,” noting that neither the Authority nor the State government took action despite a Comptroller and Auditor General report highlighting the alleged irregularities. The CBI investigations are expected to shed light on the extent of the alleged conspiracy and the recovery of the substantial losses to the state exchequer.
