**Churachandpur, Manipur:** A nine-year-old Class 2 student was found dead in a relief camp for internally displaced people in Churachandpur, Manipur, on Thursday night, sparking outrage and prompting a police investigation. The girl, who had been missing since 6:30 PM, was discovered with a neck injury and bloodstains.
Police have detained 15 individuals, identifying one as a key suspect. The girl’s parents and several civil society organizations, including the Zomi Mothers’ Association, allege murder.
