HYDERABAD, INDIA (March 18, 2025) – Hyderabad police are investigating several social media influencers, YouTubers, and celebrities for allegedly promoting illegal betting apps. Among those reportedly under investigation are popular YouTubers like Lokesh Boy Nani, Sunny Yadav, and Harsh Sai, along with several film stars, including Supritha, Tasty Teja, Vishnu Priya, and Reethu Chowdary.
Supritha, daughter of actress Surekha Vani, who recently gained popularity through her Instagram videos and reels, and is set to make her film debut opposite Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 runner-up Amardeep Chowdary, released a video statement addressing the allegations. In a previous video, released on Holi, Supritha admitted to promoting betting apps but stated she would cease such activities and urged her followers to do the same.
However, in a recent Instagram story, Supritha denied the allegations against her, stating that reports circulating on social media and television are false. She requested the public not to believe the rumours and assured fans that she is currently busy filming a movie.
