**CHICAGO, IL** – The Seattle Kraken overcame a two-goal deficit to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 6-2 on Tuesday night, marking their NHL-leading eighth comeback win from a two-goal deficit this season.

Shane Wright led the Kraken offense with two goals, while Adam Larsson contributed a goal and two assists. Matty Beniers added a goal and an assist, with Jordan Eberle and Jared McCann also finding the back of the net. Andre Burakovsky chipped in with two assists. Joey Daccord earned the win in net, stopping 27 shots.

The Blackhawks, who have now lost six of their last seven games, got goals from Tyler Bertuzzi (1 goal, 1 assist) and Connor Bedard. Spencer Knight made 24 saves in the losing effort.

Larsson’s goal late in the first period sparked the Kraken’s comeback, cutting the Blackhawks’ 2-0 lead in half. Eberle and McCann scored early in the second period to tie and then take the lead. Beniers and Wright added insurance goals in the second and third periods respectively, securing the victory for Seattle.

The game began with a fight between Chicago’s Pat Maroon and Seattle’s Jon Hayden after the opening faceoff. Despite their victory, the Kraken’s record sits at 5-5-1 in their last 11 games, while the Blackhawks continue to struggle, losing 11 of their last 14. The Kraken’s perfect record (16-0-0) when leading after two periods remained intact, while Chicago’s abysmal record when trailing after two (4-30-4) highlights their struggles.

Seattle faces Minnesota on Wednesday, while Chicago hosts Los Angeles on Thursday.
