Wed Mar 19 23:20:00 UTC 2025: ## Iowa State’s Crooks Makes History with Double All-American Honors
**SOUTH BEND, Ind. –** Iowa State women’s basketball sophomore Audi Crooks has cemented her place in Cyclones history, becoming the first sophomore to earn All-American honors from both the Associated Press and the US Basketball Writers of America. The star center received third-team accolades from both organizations, adding to her AP All-American honorable mention from last season.
Crooks’ impressive season includes leading the Big 12 Conference in scoring with an average of 23.2 points per game while shooting over 60% from the field. She also leads the nation in field goals made (304) and shattered Iowa State’s single-season records for points (765) and field goals made. Her career total of 562 field goals ties her for tenth all-time in program history. Remarkably, she is the only Big 12 player ranked in the top five for both scoring and rebounding.
The Algona native will look to add to her already impressive legacy as the 11th-seeded Cyclones face the 11th-seeded Princeton Tigers in a First Four NCAA Tournament game Wednesday night.
