**Cisco and NVIDIA Team Up to Launch Secure AI Factory Architecture**

**San Jose, CA – March 18, 2025** – Cisco and NVIDIA today announced a joint initiative to create a secure AI factory architecture designed to simplify the deployment and management of AI infrastructure for enterprises. This collaboration builds upon a previously announced partnership and delivers validated reference architectures immediately.

The “Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA” integrates Cisco’s security solutions, including Cisco Hypershield and Cisco AI Defense, with NVIDIA’s networking and AI technology, specifically the NVIDIA Spectrum-XTM Ethernet networking platform. The architecture prioritizes security at every layer of the AI stack, ensuring data, applications, and infrastructure are protected as the infrastructure scales.

According to Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins, the integration of networking and security is crucial for unlocking the full potential of AI in enterprise settings. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the need for inherent security within AI factories to protect against evolving threats. The companies’ joint efforts address these concerns by providing a flexible, scalable, and secure foundation for AI deployments.

The new architecture leverages Cisco Nexus Hyperfabric AI or Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches, validated against the NVIDIA Enterprise Reference Architecture for HGX H200 and Spectrum-X. It offers flexible deployment options to suit various enterprise needs and stages of AI adoption.

Patrick Moorhead, Founder and CEO of Moor Insights & Strategy, commented on the significance of this collaboration, suggesting it could simplify AI infrastructure adoption and accelerate digital transformation for businesses.

Solutions based on the Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA architecture are expected to be available before the end of 2025. Many of the individual components are already available. The collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end solution addressing the challenges of deploying and securing AI at scale.
