LONDON – Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi received a prestigious lifetime achievement award at the House of Commons in the UK Parliament. The honor recognizes his four-and-a-half decades of contribution to cinema and society. The ceremony, organized by UK Labour MP Navendu Mishra, was attended by several other parliament members including Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman. This latest accolade adds to a string of recent honors for Chiranjeevi, including a Guinness World Record for his extensive film career, the A.N.N.A National Award, and the International Indian Film Academy’s Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema award. He also received the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian award, last year.
