Wed Mar 19 22:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Arkansas Razorbacks Land International Forward Karim Rtail

**FAYETTEVILLE, AR –** The Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball team has received a commitment from 6-foot-9, 20-year-old international forward Karim Rtail, multiple sources confirmed Wednesday. Rtail, a Lebanese native, chose Arkansas over Penn State, Butler, and SMU. He is expected to join the team for the 2025-26 season.

Rtail brings a wealth of experience to the Razorbacks. He spent the 2024-25 season playing professionally for Neptūnas-Akvaservis in the Lithuanian NBL, averaging 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. His international career includes appearances in the FIBA U18 Asian Championship (2022), the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup (2023), and the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers (2024).

This commitment further strengthens Arkansas’ already impressive 2025 recruiting class, currently ranked No. 4 nationally by 247Sports. The class already includes five-star guards Meleek Thomas and Darius Acuff, and four-star wing Isaiah Sealy, all of whom have signed. The Razorbacks are also considered frontrunners for five-star forward Nate Ament, who is expected to announce his commitment on April 1st. Ament’s addition would solidify Arkansas’ position as a top contender for national titles in the coming years.
