Thu Mar 20 15:32:31 UTC 2025: ## Andhra Pradesh Launches Program to Train ITI Students for German Jobs

**Vijayawada, March 20, 2025** – The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) has partnered with the Indian diaspora in Germany to launch Project SarvaSetu, a new initiative aimed at preparing young Indian professionals for jobs in Germany. The program will provide final-year ITI students in Andhra Pradesh with crucial skills for the German job market.

According to G. Ganesh Kumar, Managing Director and CEO of APSSDC, the program will include German language training, cultural orientation, and integration skills. Training will be delivered in two batches of 150 students each at selected ITIs and training centers. Upon successful completion of A1 and A2 level German language certifications, students will be eligible to apply for jobs in Germany.

The Indian diaspora in Germany, working with the Consulate General of India in Munich, will provide the German language training. Project SarvaSetu will also offer virtual language support and job placement assistance. Online training is expected to begin in the first week of May 2025.

Mr. Kumar emphasized that this collaboration is a significant step towards bridging skill gaps and creating international career opportunities for Indian youth.
